2l’s&2t’s is the practice of James Elliott, a UK-based design director with over 30 years’ experience.

It takes its name from something I’ve learned to say instinctively, often before it’s needed. A small, pre-emptive act of clarity. A way of making sure things are understood from the start.

That idea sits at the heart of my work. Good design isn’t decoration, it’s communication. It’s about making things clear, considered, and impossible to misunderstand.
